SEC Verification

Pesohere is Sec registered and legit in Philippines?

If you searched for this question, you probably already saw two very different answers online. Some app-store listings and review sites say Pesohere is fully SEC-registered and safe. Other search results, including borrower complaint threads, say the opposite. We did not want to guess, so we went straight to the primary sources: the Philippine Securities and Exchange Commission's own published records. Here is exactly what we found, with links so you can check it yourself.

What the official SEC Check portal shows

The SEC operates a public verification tool at checkwithsec.sec.gov.ph where anyone can search a company's exact SEC registration number and get a live result straight from the Commission's own database. We ran the number Pesohere cites in its own materials — 2021030008899-02 — through this official tool directly, and it returned a match:

The result confirms Super-Space PH Lending Inc., "doing business under the name and style of PesoKuwento and PesoHere," registered with the SEC on March 16, 2021, with a current status of Registered, at an address in One Corporate Center, Julia Vargas corner Meralco Avenue, Ortigas Center, Pasig City. This matches the SEC number and address that appear on Pesohere's own official website. Based on this direct, official verification, the corporate entity behind Pesohere is a currently registered SEC corporation, and the app is one of that corporation's declared trade names.

Why we're updating our framing here: an earlier version of this article leaned on the SEC's separately published PDF list of "Recorded Online Lending Platforms," which did not show an entry for this company as of that list's last update. That list and the live SEC Check portal serve different purposes — the portal verifies the underlying corporate registration in real time, while the OLP list is a periodically updated compliance list under a separate 2019 circular. Since the portal is the SEC's own live lookup tool, we're treating it as the stronger, more current evidence of registration status, and we'd rather correct the record than leave outdated framing standing.

What Pesohere claims about its own registration

According to the app's own Google Play Store listing and its official website, Pesohere is operated as an online loan product of Super-Space PH Lending Inc., holding SEC Registration Number 2021030008899-02 and Certificate of Authority (CA) No. 3435. The listing further states that Super-Space PH Lending Inc. has authorized TechTack Lending Corporation (stated Registration No. CS2023020086170-18, CA No. L-23-0359-69) to administer the lending platform on its behalf. You can read this claim directly on the official Pesohere Google Play listing. The SEC Check portal result above independently confirms the registration number and company name side of this claim.

One remaining gap worth knowing about

Confirming corporate registration is not quite the same question as confirming that the specific online lending platform (the app itself) has been recorded under SEC Memorandum Circular No. 19, Series of 2019, which is a separate reporting step lending companies must complete for each app or website they operate. As of the SEC's most recently published List of Recorded Online Lending Platforms, we did not find a matching entry under "Super-Space" in that specific document. That list is not updated as often as the live SEC Check portal, so this may simply reflect a lag in that document rather than an active issue — but it's a detail worth being aware of, and worth re-checking against the SEC's latest version yourself if you want full certainty on this narrower point.

There is also a documented public complaint on file

Separately from the registration question, a Freedom of Information request submitted to the National Bureau of Investigation in January 2024 explicitly names "PESOHERE Loan App" and describes alleged harassment, threats, and high effective interest. That request and the agency's handling of it are publicly viewable at foi.gov.ph/requests/pesohere-loan-app-harassment. Being a registered company does not cancel out this kind of complaint — registration and collection conduct are two separate things, and a registered lender is still bound by fair-collection rules. See our full Pesohere harassment Philippines article for more on this specific point.

How to verify the current status yourself, in under 5 minutes

1Use the official SEC Check portal

Go to checkwithsec.sec.gov.ph and search the exact SEC registration number or company name shown in the app or on its official website. This is the fastest, most current way to confirm a company exists and is active.

2Cross-check the general list of lending companies

The SEC also publishes a broader list of lending and financing companies for a second point of reference.

3Check for public advisories

Browse the SEC's Advisories page for any warning naming the app, its operator, or a similar brand name being used without authorization.

4Match the developer name in the app store

A legitimate lender will show a developer name in Google Play or the App Store that matches the exact registered corporate name you just verified — not just a similar-sounding brand.

Registered does not automatically mean risk-free

It's also worth being precise about what SEC registration actually guarantees. Even a properly registered lender is still required to follow SEC rules on interest disclosure and fair collection conduct under SEC Memorandum Circular No. 18, Series of 2019 — registration is a floor, not a guarantee of good service. That's a separate question from whether a company is registered at all, which is what this article focuses on. For the interest rate side of the picture, see our full breakdown of Pesohere's interest rate in the Philippines.

Bottom line

Yes — based on a direct, official lookup through the SEC's own Check portal, Super-Space PH Lending Inc., the corporate entity behind Pesohere, is a registered SEC corporation as of March 16, 2021, and Pesohere is one of its declared trade names alongside PesoKuwento. That answers the core registration question in this article's title. It does not, however, automatically resolve separate questions about interest rate compliance or collection conduct, which we cover in the related articles below — and we'd still encourage you to re-verify the current status yourself before applying, since registration status, certificates of authority, and OLP recordings can all change over time.

If you'd rather skip the guesswork altogether, Pesohere.top lets you compare currently recorded, SEC-authorized loan apps in the Philippines side by side before you commit to any single lender.
