About our loan comparison team
Last updated:
We built this site because shopping for a small online loan in the Philippines usually means installing several apps just to see what each one offers. Our team gathers the loan amount, basic requirements and estimated cost of a handful of licensed lending platforms and lays them out on one page, so a reader can shortlist an option before handing over any personal information.
Why we started Pesohere.top
A few years ago, several members of our small team went through the same frustrating process most Filipino borrowers know well: needing cash quickly, downloading three or four different lending apps, filling out the same personal details repeatedly, and only realizing the true cost of each loan after being approved. We started this site to shorten that process to a single page, so a reader can compare loan amounts, general eligibility, and typical costs before installing anything at all.
What we do
We track publicly available details from lending apps operating in the Philippines: minimum and maximum loan amount, age requirement, typical approval speed and the general documents a borrower needs. We do not process applications, hold funds or make lending decisions — every application is completed on the partner lender's own platform. Our role stops at organizing information clearly; the actual lending relationship is always between you and the licensed company you choose to apply with.
How we research each lender
Before we summarize any lender's terms on this site, we review the information published on the lender's own official website and app store listing, and we periodically re-check this against the Securities and Exchange Commission's public records to confirm the operating company still appears active. Loan terms, especially interest rates and maximum amounts, can change on short notice as regulations are updated, so we recommend treating the figures on this site as a starting point for comparison rather than a final, binding quote — the lender's own disclosure statement at the time of application is always the authoritative source.
How we stay funded
When a reader applies with a partner lender through a link on this site, we may receive a referral fee from that lender. This is standard practice across comparison websites in many industries, not just lending, and it is how we're able to keep this research free for readers to use. Importantly, this arrangement does not change the estimated amounts or requirements we display, and it never costs the reader anything extra — the fee is paid by the lender out of its own marketing budget, not added to your loan cost. We do not accept payment in exchange for hiding negative information about a lender, and a referral relationship does not by itself determine which lenders we choose to feature.
How we choose what to list
Before a lender appears on our comparison page, we check its listing against the Securities and Exchange Commission's public register of financing and lending companies operating in the Philippines. We look specifically for a matching, currently active registration under the exact legal entity name behind the app, not just a similar-sounding consumer brand name. We also review the lender's own app store listing for consistency between its stated terms and what actually shows up during a typical application flow, to the extent that information is publicly available to us.
What we are not
We are not a bank, a lending company, or a financial advisor, and nothing on this site should be read as personalized financial advice. We do not have visibility into your personal credit history, income, or financial situation, so any figures shown here are general reference points, not a guarantee of what you personally will be offered. Similarly, we do not have the authority to approve, deny, or influence any lender's decision on your application — that decision rests entirely with the lender you choose.
Our commitment to accuracy
We understand that borrowing money, even a small amount, is a real financial decision with real consequences, and we take the accuracy of what we publish seriously. If you notice outdated information, a broken link, or a lender detail that no longer matches what that company currently offers, we genuinely want to hear about it — see our contact page for how to reach us. We also maintain a separate editorial policy explaining how we handle corrections, and an author page describing who is behind the research on this site.
A note on our Pesohere Review Philippines section
Beyond our comparison listings, we also publish independent, source-linked research on other loan apps operating in the Philippines under our Pesohere Review Philippines section, including registration checks, interest rate breakdowns, and consumer protection guides. This research is separate from our comparison and referral listings above, and follows the same sourcing standards described in our editorial policy.
How to use this site well
We'd suggest treating this page as your starting point, not your final stop. Compare the general loan amount ranges and requirements listed here, shortlist two or three lenders that fit your situation, and then read each lender's actual disclosure statement in full once you reach their application screen — that document, not this website, is the legally binding source for your specific loan's terms. If two lenders look similar on paper, small differences in the effective interest rate, repayment schedule flexibility, or customer support responsiveness can matter more than the headline loan amount.
Questions or corrections
This site is maintained by a small team, and we review reader feedback regularly. If something looks outdated, unclear, or simply wrong, please reach out through our contact page rather than assuming we already know — we would rather fix an error quickly than have inaccurate information sit online. Thank you for taking the time to read this far; it tells us you're the kind of borrower who checks the fine print, which is exactly the habit this whole site is trying to encourage.
